I haven't posted any music in a long time, mostly because my hard drive died and I lost everything. But! I have songs for you now! These are all from the "Across the Universe" soundtrack, so they're all by the Beatles, but performed by the cast of the movie. I highly recommend the movie, by the way.

So, in no particular order, the songs are:

Girl
I've Just Seen a Face
Let It Be
Come Together
If I Fell
I Want You (She's So Heavy)
While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Blackbird

All songs available here. Enjoy!

And since I'm on a cover kick right now, I have another one for you.

No MP3 for this one, unfortunately.

You're lovely. Thanks for the music.

You're quite welcome : ) I can upload the rest of the soundtrack if you'd like it, I just picked the most Bebop/Leadbelly appropriate for the post.

Lovelylovelylovelylovely...

"Stripped" brings back so many memories. I remember it playing in the background during that scene in 'Say Anything', when Cory's wish of Joe's wanting her back finally seems to be coming into fruition before he ruins it with the guy blunder of all guy blunders: a very inappropriately-timed request for sex.

I'm glad you enjoy them : ) You really should check out "Across the Universe" if you haven't already, I think you'd really like it. SUCH an amazing movie.

And man, "Stripped" has been part of the soundtrack of my life for so long now it's not even funny. And this cover is SO good. But I have to admit I've never seen "Say Anything" : (

I'll definitely have to check 'Across the Universe' out. You're not the first person to recommend it to me so I'm taking it as a sign that I must see it!

You MUST see 'Say Anything'. John Cusack as Lloyd Dobler is amazing. You'll absolutely fall in love with him. Then you'll remember how he did Con Air and probably fall back out of love. But Lloyd Dobler is forever.
